INTRODUCTION

HAPPY HOME Services is a company registered in the Cameroon Trade Register under number CM-NSI-01-2025-A10-01667, and whose head office is located in Yaoundé. HAPPY HOME offers to consumers the opportunity to buy household products on its website www.myhappyhome.site. The access and use of the website are subject to these general terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) which the User declares to have read and accepted by using our platform. The website www.myhappyhome.site  is open to any individual with internet access who wishes to use it to purchase products for personal use. Use of the website www.myhappyhome.site is therefore subject to the following conditions, which will govern commercial transactions on this platform.

ARTICLE 1: DEFINITIONS

In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have, unless otherwise indicated, the meanings given to them in this article:

  • GTC : refers to the general terms and conditions of use of the website www.myhappyhome.site
  • Website: refers to the website www.myhappyhome.site which allows you to buy our products.
  • CFAF: refers to the currency that is accepted for payments on the website.
  • User : refers to a natural person of legal age using the website “www.myhappyhome.site” in a non-commercial and strictly personal context.
  • HAPPY HOME  : refers to the company HAPPY HOME Services
  • NAICT : refers to the national agency for information and communication technologies.

ARTICLE 2: PURPOSE

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the conditions under which the site is used by users.

ARTICLE 3: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND DATA CONSUMPTION

The use of www.myhappyhome.site is permitted to any adult with internet access via a smartphone or computer who wishes to use the site for their own personal, non-commercial purposes. Use of the website may involve the transmission of data to and from the user's device, which may incur charges from the user's internet service provider. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that the user ensure their mobile data plan is compatible with the website. HAPPY HOME cannot be held liable for excessive data consumption.

ARTICLE 4: DESCRIPTION AND USE OF THE SITE

  • Description: the website www.happyhome.site allows users to purchase IT and telecommunications products and services. Users simply select products or services on the platform, indicate their payment method and delivery location.
  • Offers: this refers to all the products published on the site and therefore presented to the attention of all visitors who are potential buyers. Each product is presented by a name, one or more pictures, a short description, his price, a long descriptionand a buttonadd to cart. These offers are available to individuals who will purchase them for their own personal use and not for resale. Product prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Shopping:this step consist of putting in his basket all the products that interest you by clicking the "add to cart" button that accompanies each product. HAPPY HOME reserves the right to cancel a cart if its contents are deemed unsuitable for personal use.
  • Placing the Order:at this stage, the buyer, having previously checked the contents of their basket, has filled out the order form in which they provide a delivery address, the delivery method, and choose a payment method from the available options.
  • The payment: in principle, payments are made upon delivery. However, delivery of certain orders is subject to a prepayment requirement. Indeed, depending on the total invoice amount and the delivery location, you will be required to pay either a prepayment or the full invoice amount via our merchant accounts (HAPPY HOME), MTN Mobile Money, and Orange Money in order for delivery to be completed.
    Therefore, we ask that you make the payment of the aforementioned amount or the advance payment within the timeframe communicated to you by our Customer Service department upon confirmation or placement of your order. Otherwise, your order will not be processed. Please note that in these cases, payments are made exclusively through our merchant accounts.
  • Delivery::is carried out by an internal HAPPY HOME delivery agent or by an agent from one of our delivery partners, according to the terms below:
    • The place: delivery takes place between 9am and 4pm at a location agreed upon by mutual agreement between HAPPY HOME and the buyer.
    • Deadlines: delivery times begin from the date of order confirmation. This timeframe depends on the availability of the item in question. In the event of force majeure preventing delivery within this timeframe, it will be extended with the customer's agreement.
    • The cost:: delivery charges depend on the distance. They range from 500 to 2000 CFA francs in the Mfoundi and Wouri departments. For the rest of the country, delivery consists of shipping the product from Yaoundé or Douala via a parcel delivery agency, at the buyer's expense.
    • Verification and complaints: upon receiving their order, the buyer is required to immediately verify, in the presence of the delivery person, the conformity and condition of the packaging and the condition of the product. In case of non-conformity with the order placed, claims must be made to HAPPY HOME customer service at the email address happyhome237@outlook.com, by telephone at 621008100, and on WhatsApp at 621008100; this must be done within 24 hours.

ARTICLE 5: PROVISIONS CONCERNING EVIDENCE

It is expressly agreed that HAPPY HOME and the User may communicate electronically for the purposes of their transaction, provided that technical security measures are taken to ensure the confidentiality of the data exchanged.
HAPPY HOME and the User agree that the electronic exchange between them validly represents the content of their discussions and, where applicable, their commitments.

ARTICLE 6: PERSONAL DATA

The personal data collected during the use of the site is processed by HAPPY HOME, which is therefore responsible for it. As part of this service, HAPPY HOME carries out the following processing:

  • To identify users, HAPPY HOME may collect their phone numbers and email addresses. This information may be used to inform users about HAPPY HOME's products and services.
  • Statistical data are collected anonymously in order to better understand usage and continuously improve the service.
  • The recipient of this personal user data is solely HAPPY HOME. This data will therefore not be subject to any transactions whatsoever with third parties.

The User has the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of their data, as well as the right to data portability. The User may also issue instructions regarding the retention, deletion, or disclosure of their data after their death.
The User can contact ANTIC and the competent authorities and exercise their rights by calling or writing (sms or whatsapp) to HAPPY HOME customer service at 621008100.
User data is processed in accordance with its Privacy Policy relating to the protection of personal data and privacy.

ARTICLE 7 – APPLICABLE LAW – GENERAL PROVISIONS

If one or more provisions of this agreement are deemed invalid or are declared as such by law, regulation, or a court decision of a competent judicial authority, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The provisions declared invalid shall be replaced by provisions that most closely approximate the content of the originally agreed-upon provisions. HAPPY HOME and the User shall not be held liable or deemed to have breached these Terms of Service for any delay or failure to perform if such delay or failure is due to force majeure as defined by Cameroonian case law. Unless otherwise provided by applicable law, these Terms of Service between Users and HAPPY HOME are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service between Users and HAPPY HOME, or any breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts.

ARTICLE 8 – CONTACT – COMPLAINTS

Any complaint or dispute concerning the website must be reported to HAPPY HOME customer service by phone or in writing (text message, WhatsApp, or email) at 621008100 and happyhome237@outlook.com respectively. This does not preclude the User's right to bring their complaint against HAPPY HOME before the competent authorities.
